Typically, we’ve thought of bariatric surgery as invasive procedures that remove part of the stomach, or bypass it. As the technology improves, surgeons are now able to move towards minimally invasive procedures, such as the Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty. But how effective is this procedure for weight-loss, are there any risks or complications to manage, and is it a quick-fix for treating obesity?
